I participated in my first competition with my new Loftsails at Matanzas in early October.  It was the second event of the South American Wave Championship.

 

 
 

There were marginal conditions- small waves and light winds the first day, and I arrived to the semi-final (one needed alot of luck with the waves, and I had difficult eliminations with Konan Lang of Brasil).  In any case, I was first in the Masters classification.
 

The second day, we had winds up to 15 knots with waves to 4 meters, with alot of current.  The organizers ran a "super session" that I won!  :)  I was happy with my result.

 


Many people were asking about my sails, they like a lot the design, the build quality and the detail quality of the Lip Waves. I am also taking notes for a windsurfing documentary and other articles about extreme sports and adventure tourism in Chile.

 

 
In addition to this news, I continue to be super enthusiastic about my new
Loftsails, especially after using them in many different conditions.
