Éxito absoluto fue el evento realizado en la tienda Windsurfing Chile el pasado jueves 23 de Abril.

The elite of kitespeed is expected to take part in this battle, including world record holder and local Alexandre Caizergues, Sebastien Catellan, the first man over 50 knots ever, and hotshot Robert Douglas from the USA.
On the womens side, the battle will be close between world record holder Sjoukje Bredenkamp (RSA) and defending world champion Charlotte Consorti (FRA).

It was a special tough task to set up a calendar for the Speed:World:Cup this year, taking into account the world wide crisis, which is also hitting us now through missing sponsorship moneys.
The International Kiteboarding Association (IKA) and the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA) came to an agreement regarding the issues raised by PKRA prior to joining the IKA. It will be noted that IKA was sanctioned by the International Sailing Federation as the worldwide governing body of kiteboarding.
